March 29: Transfer from Zurich Airport to start your journey with an overnight stay at the luxurious Schweizerhof Hotel. Meet your fellow travelers at a welcome dinner at the hotel.
March 30: After breakfast, discover the beauty of Switzerland on a full-day excursion to Mount Rigi, known as the "Queen of the Mountains." Board Europe's first cogwheel railway for a scenic ride to the summit, enjoy time to take in the spectacular panoramic views, visit the Lok 7 exhibition center, or stroll to the mountaintop viewpoints. Continue to the peaceful alpine village of Rigi Kaltbad, where you'll enjoy lunch surrounded by stunning mountain scenery.
After lunch, descend by mountain railway back to Vitznau before boarding your boat for a relaxing cruise across Lake Lucerne, returning to Lucerne in the late afternoon.
March 31: Enjoy breakfast at the hotel and prepare for departure. Discover the City of Lights on a walking tour in Lucerne and learn more about Lucerne's history. Discover the main landmark of Lucerne: the Chapel Bridge with its water tower. Finish in the afternoon with transportation to your river cruise in Basel.
