Then I Woke Up

It came to me. It may have been in my sleep, but I think it was actually later in the day. I don't exactly remember when, but I knew what I was going to do.

I needed to have this new adventure in honor of my parents-- to start a business in their memory. And I knew just how to do it.

My father's diagnosis was bleak. Stage 4 Pancreatic cancer that had gone undetected for some time. Research is being done, but it's not enough. Too many people who are close to me have been affected by this dreadful disease. My plan is to donate a portion of each sale to pancreatic cancer research.

Now Mah Jongg Wipes are a combination of both of my parents. My mother's love for the game, which can be seen through the eyes of her grandchildren, and my father, who lost his fight with cancer far too soon. They are my inspiration for this business. Despite my grieving, despite my exhaustion, despite the fact that I don't have much free time, I chose to start Mah Jongg Wipes in honor of my parents, two of the most amazing people in the world.
